Job summary

Popular is seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable AI, ML, and Generative AI solutions across the organization. The role partners with Data & Analytics, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, and business units to deliver secure, compliant AI capabilities at scale.

You will drive model lifecycle management, governance, and Responsible AI practices while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and technology standards in financial services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, or a related technical field.
Master's degree preferred in AI, data science, CS, or engineering.
5+ years in software/AI/ML engineering or related tech.
Experience with cloud platforms and enterprise environments.
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, MLOps, and software engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI/ML/GenAI solutions.
Build scalable AI-enabled apps, APIs, copilots, and automation.
Implement model lifecycle management, governance, and observability.
Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and business units.
Contribute to enterprise AI standards and reference architectures.
