Job summary

Emergence AI is building AI agents that investigate, reason, and help organizations make better decisions. As an AI Engineer, you will build customer-facing capabilities across Emergence's Enterprise Agent Platform, collaborating with Product Management, Customer Success, and enterprise customers to transform complex business problems into production‑grade AI systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with production software in a cloud environment.
• Strong understanding of backend services and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build the core Enterprise Agent Platform for AI agents at scale.
• Collaborate with enterprise customers to create production-ready AI workflows.
• Design systems for trustworthy AI with evaluation, verification, and audit trails.
• Develop data/knowledge capabilities connecting to enterprise data sources.
• Build runtime for long-running AI workflows with memory and retries.
• Work with Product/CS in workshops to understand problems and ship solutions.
• Own features from concept to production, focusing on APIs, scalability, security, and performance.
• Establish reusable patterns and evaluate AI tools to boost productivity.
