Job summary

Kforce is seeking an experienced AI Engineer in Jacksonville, FL to evaluate emerging AI technologies, build rapid prototypes, and drive adoption of intelligent solutions across the organization. You will partner with technical and business teams to identify opportunities, design scalable AI-driven solutions, and move initiatives from concept through production.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering or IT or related field; advanced degree preferred.
3+ years of software development experience, including AI-enabled apps or automation.
Experience evaluating emerging AI tech for business use and prototyping.
Strong skills integrating AI capabilities into existing systems and workflows.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, source control, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

Evaluate emerging AI technologies and drive prototypes across the org.
Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify opportunities.
Design scalable AI-powered solutions from concept to production.
Provide guidance on AI architecture, implementation strategies, and tech selection.
Lead projects through full development lifecycle including deployment and monitoring.
Support software engineering and data-focused initiatives as priorities evolve.
Promote reusable frameworks and accelerate AI adoption across teams.
Manage multiple initiatives as a technical advisor in a fast-paced environment.
