Job summary

Diamondback Energy, Inc. seeks an AI Developer to join its new AI team in Texas. You will design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications and autonomous workflows leveraging Claude, Azure OpenAI, Snowflake, and Databricks.

The role spans data pipelines, agent orchestration, and responsible AI governance across cloud environments. The position requires a BS in a related field and 2–4 years of hands-on delivery experience in production AI/ML apps, with strong Python and SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience shipping software, data, or AI/ML applications in production.
• Strong Python coding and testing discipline; maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications and autonomous workflows using large language models.
• Build and maintain data pipelines connecting Snowflake and Azure Databricks to AI/ML workflows.
• Develop and orchestrate agentic systems using Claude Agent SDK and Azure Foundry Agent Service.
• Develop evaluation frameworks to measure model and agent quality, reliability, and safety.
