Job summary

Turing Intelligence seeks an experienced Engagement Manager to lead client delivery engagements for financial services in the NY area. You will own end-to-end engagements from scope through production, adoption, and renewal, coordinating a pod of engineers and delivery staff while managing risk, scope, and margins.

You will not code, but you will maintain technical fluency to scope AI work credibly, challenge plans, and communicate trade-offs to CTOs and risk teams.

Qualifications

• Collaborative Engagement Manager with sound leadership instincts and a proven track record mentoring teams under delivery pressure.
• 8+ years in client-facing delivery or consulting, with at least 3 years leading engagements for financial services clients.
• Experience owning engagement financials: margin, forecasting, staffing, renewals.
• Led at least one AI/ML or data-platform program into production at an enterprise.
• Executive presence: managed steering committees and MD-level sponsors; retained accounts during challenging periods.
• Technical fluency: able to read architecture diagrams and discuss LLM-based systems with clients.
• Based in the New York metro area and able to be onsite with clients several days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own engagements end to end from SOW to production and renewal.
• Structure SOWs with scope, milestones, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and a value hypothesis.
• Manage cadence, staffing, risks, decisions, and client communications; protect the critical path.
• Define success by adoption and measurable impact, with upfront KPIs and ongoing reporting.
• Lead a pod of FDEs and delivery staff; partner with the technical lead on architecture decisions.
• Codify reusable BFSI delivery playbooks and SOW patterns.
