Job description

This role is with a pro‑Israel advocacy organization; candidates must be comfortable supporting and advancing a strong U.S.–Israel relationship as a core part of their work.

About the Role

Our NGO client is hiring an AI Enablement Manager for its Development (fundraising) team in Washington, DC. You will sit between fundraisers, executives and IT, turn what they need into working AI workflows, and get those workflows adopted.

This is not a build-from-scratch role. The team is already AI-forward and moving. Staff build their own artifacts and commands in VonLabs, IT and architecture have a working plan to connect the AI platform to Salesforce, and a project manager is in place. Your job is to bring the pieces together and extend them: Salesforce first, then across the organization.

What You'll Own
  • The AI enablement roadmap for Development, starting with Salesforce, the organization's core revenue system, then expanding to org-wide use cases.
  • Requirements from fundraisers, executives and IT, translated into workflows people use: meeting notes, CRM updates, task creation, donor follow-up and reporting.
  • Integrations, with IT and architecture: the AI platform, Salesforce, Slack and meeting automation. You will test against MCP connections and understand the data schemas behind them.
  • Rollout, training, job aids and feedback loops that make new workflows stick.
  • Delivery across several parties at once, working alongside the team's project manager.
  • Standards for approved tools, usage and AI cost as the organization moves off flat-rate AI pricing.
  • Evaluation of new tools and integrations as the roadmap grows.
What We're Looking For

You have implemented AI-enabled workflows inside a real organization and can explain what you built, who used it, what changed and what you learned. You are as comfortable with front-line fundraisers as you are with IT.

  • 5–8+ years in technology enablement, RevOps, Development Ops, business systems, solutions consulting or a similar internal-facing role.
  • Hands‑on experience implementing AI tools, workflow automations or copilots that people adopted.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or another enterprise CRM: data flow, user behavior and integration realities.
  • Comfort with integrations, APIs and MCP concepts. You do not need to build custom MCP servers; you need to understand how systems connect and learn fast.
  • Project management discipline. You run your own threads and work well with a PM.
  • Clear communication with non-technical users and credibility with technical teams.
  • Management experience in a nonprofit or mission‑driven organization is a strong plus.
This Role Is Probably Not a Fit If You:
  • Want a fully remote position or cannot be in the DC office three days a week.
  • Have AI experience limited to personal projects, prompting, content generation or certifications, without implementation inside an organization.
  • Want a deeply technical engineering or Salesforce admin role. Hands‑on work here is testing and configuration.
  • Want a theoretical AI strategy role without hands‑on implementation.
  • Prefer limited interaction with non-technical users.
  • Want a low‑visibility environment where mission alignment does not matter.
Location

Washington, DC. Hybrid, three days per week in office.

Why This Role Is Compelling
  • A team already in motion. You will not spend your first year convincing skeptics.
  • Direct access to senior Development leadership.
  • Work that directly changes how fundraisers spend their time and how donor information is captured.
  • Professional, AI-forward colleagues who are easy to work with.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. No third-party recruiters or C2C.
