Job summary

Kong Inc. is seeking an experienced AI Enablement Professional to drive AI-powered workflows, coach teams, and establish governance across business units. You will translate evolving AI developments into practical tools and processes while mentoring junior colleagues.

You will collaborate with IT, Security, and Engineering to ensure scalable, reusable solutions and measurable time savings across Kong’s operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical or cross-functional role with problem‑solving across teams.
• Track record of building AI-powered tools, automations, or workflows that change how real work gets done.
• Experience helping others develop new technical skills through coaching or enablement programs.
• Clear, concise communication that explains technical concepts to non-experts.
• Comfort with ambiguity and self-direction; can start without a detailed roadmap.
• Experience in IT or business operations supporting multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Spend time inside business teams to understand tools, processes, pain points, and outputs.
• Build AI-powered workflows and automations addressing bottlenecks.
• Coach team members to advance AI skills through sessions and practice.
• Make solutions reusable across the organization.
• Establish a framework to track AI adoption across units and report to IT leadership.
• Set documentation standards for tools, workflows, and lessons learned.
• Contribute to internal AI governance with IT, Security, and Engineering.
• Mentor juniors and interns with hands-on experience and feedback.
• Stay current on AI developments and translate into practical Kong use cases.
