Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Instructional Designer to create learner-centered experiences across eLearning, ILT, and blended formats. You will work with Learning Strategy leaders and subject matter experts to translate performance needs into effective learning solutions, delivering high-quality projects from analysis through implementation.

You will apply AI-enabled workflows, explore new technologies, and design engaging solutions that improve learner outcomes and business performance.

Qualifications

• Proficient in instructional design and adult learning theories.
• Experience with multiple learning modalities: eLearning, instructor-led, virtual, mobile.
• Knowledge of agile learning development or SAM.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools to support learning analysis and content creation.
• Familiarity with modern learning technologies and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learning solutions across modalities.
• Collaborate with Learning Strategy Senior Managers and subject matter experts.
• Utilize standard tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise and PowerPoint.
• Apply generative AI to support analysis, content development, and workflows.
• Communicate effectively and manage projects across teams.
