Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Instructional Designer to create engaging learning experiences for our Athens, GA associates. You will apply instructional design, learning science, and AI-enabled tools to build high-quality programs from analysis through implementation.

You will design learner-centered experiences, work in Agile/SAM environments, and collaborate with subject matter experts to drive business performance through effective training solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in instructional design and adult learning theory.
• Experience with eLearning development tools and MS Office.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAM learning development approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learning solutions across modalities (eLearning, ILT, virtual, blended).
• Collaborate with Learning Strategy and SMEs throughout projects.
• Utilize standard development tools and maintain project timelines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Explore innovative approaches to develop associates.
