Job summary

CDW is seeking an Instructional Designer to partner with Learning & Development leaders, senior designers and subject matter experts to design, develop and deliver enablement aligned with CDW strategies. You will apply instructional design best practices and modern learning technologies, including generative AI, across modalities, and grow your craft through coaching and diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an instructional design project from needs analysis to implementation.
• Solid understanding of adult learning theory and ID models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
• Familiarity with eLearning tools and learning management systems.
• Knowledge of generative AI use in instructional design and privacy guidelines.
• Commitment to accessibility and inclusive design practices.
• Experience collaborating with SMEs to build technical and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to assess needs and define objectives.
• Design and develop content across modalities: ILT, VILT, eLearning, video.
• Create assets using Articulate 360, Synthesia, Brainshark and more.
• Develop accessible, inclusive learning aligned to brand standards.
• Coordinate programs with timelines, communications and materials.
• Apply AI responsibly to accelerate design and validate outputs.
• Measure outcomes and suggest program enhancements.
• Maintain content in the LMS and refresh with SMEs.
