Job summary

Sia is seeking a Forward Deployed Business Analyst to join the Financial Services Consulting practice. You will be embedded with client teams to own business outcomes, leveraging AI to move faster and deliver smarter solutions.

You will translate business needs into functional requirements, support solution design, and collaborate with product owners, engineers, and data teams to drive initiatives across front, middle, and back-office platforms.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering, AI Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Financial Engineering, Computing, or related field.
Recent graduate or early-career candidate with up to 2 years post-graduate experience in business problem-solving, analytics, and AI-enabled work.
Foundational ability to leverage AI tools, prompt engineering, and productivity platforms to accelerate business analysis.
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, PowerBI, Tableau and related tools to support data analysis and clear presentations.
Strong communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, ownership, teamwork, and curiosity for client-facing work.
Foundational understanding or interest in financial services industry and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

AI-enabled consulting delivery: apply AI-enabled, no-code/low-code tools to accelerate research, analysis, documentation, prototyping and delivery.
Client engagement & delivery: work with client teams to understand objectives, challenges, constraints, priorities and outcomes.
Strategic problem solving: assess processes, data flows, risks, dependencies and identify root causes for strategic initiatives.
Technical business analysis: translate needs into functional requirements, user stories, data requirements and acceptance criteria.
Solution design & implementation support: collaborate with product owners, engineers, data teams and stakeholders across platforms.
Workstream ownership: manage timelines, risks, issues and dependencies, report progress to stakeholders.
Client-ready communication & deliverables: prepare presentations, summaries, business cases and status reports.
