Job summary

Sia, a leading global management consulting group, seeks a Forward Deployed Business Analyst (Senior Consultant) for its Financial Services Consulting practice in the Charlotte area. The role embeds with client teams to own outcomes, utilizing data, analytics, and AI to deliver smarter transformations across wealth, capital markets, and banking domains.

You will develop functional requirements, lead solution design discussions, and drive delivery with consultants and client stakeholders,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, AI Engineering & Computing, Computer Science, Data Science, Financial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
3+ years of work experience in financial services with evidence of business problem-solving and analytical thinking; consulting experience preferred.
Foundational ability to leverage AI/GenAI tools and modern productivity platforms for analysis, documentation, and deliverables without compromising governance.

Responsibilities

AI-Enabled Consulting Delivery: apply AI-enabled tools to accelerate research, analysis, and delivery while defining agent responsibilities and safety controls.
Client Engagement & Delivery: work with client teams to understand objectives, constraints, and desired outcomes.
Strategic Problem Solving: assess processes, data flows, and risks to define strategic initiatives including operating model transformations.
Technical Business Analysis: translate needs into clear requirements, user stories, data rules, and acceptance criteria.
Solution Design & Implementation Support: partner with product owners and engineers across front, middle, and back-office platforms for implementation readiness.
Workstream Ownership & Execution: manage timelines, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies; communicate progress.
