Job summary

Covista is seeking an Operations Specialist to support campus expansion planning, coordination, and readiness. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop processes and drive project activities across a growing portfolio of growth initiatives.

This generalist role requires strong organization, adaptability and the ability to navigate priorities while focusing on milestones and deliverables. The position offers a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years in business operations or project management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with process improvement and change management preferred.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the campus expansion team.
• Maintain and update centralized project repositories and trackers, ensuring docs are current and accessible.
• Develop and improve operational processes, tools, templates, and project governance for campus expansions.
• Assist with operational readiness activities, site visits, regulatory research, licenses, procurement, and facility support.
• Maintain project plans, trackers, timelines, and status reports with milestones and risks.
• Leverage PM and reporting technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate regulatory and licensing deadlines and submissions.
• Develop stakeholder relationships to support project objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
