Qualifications

• 4+ years in vulnerability management or security risk, with scale.
• Experience with CVSS or similar frameworks for rating CVEs.
• Automation experience to streamline vulnerability workflows.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and manage vulnerabilities across Vanguard’s hybrid infra.
• Automate vulnerability operations and integrate with AI-assisted remediation tooling.
• Collaborate with SOC, threat intel, and engineering to refine prioritization and reporting.
• Investigate false positives and risk-acceptance requests; adjust risk ratings.
• Shape enforcement controls and response guardrails; support zero-day handling.
• Tune scanning tools with the platform team to improve visibility and objectives.
• Drive continuous process improvement and automation across findings.
