AppFolio is seeking a Vulnerability Management Specialist to join the Security Engineering team. You will validate and prioritize vulnerabilities, coordinate remediation, and help drive the program using automation and AI.

The role emphasizes collaboration, threat response, and adherence to policies within a SaaS environment. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in cybersecurity, scripting ability, and hands-on tool experience with DefectDojo, Invicti, Wiz, or Cycode.

Qualificações

• 2–5 years in a related cybersecurity role.
• Ability to write scripts in Ruby, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools.
• Understanding of CVSS and risk-based prioritization.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Validate, prioritize, communicate, and track vulnerabilities to improve security posture.
• Respond to emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with vulnerability management policies and drive best practices.
• Streamline vulnerability management with AI, ML, and automation.
• Build trust with customers and partners through effective vulnerability program.
