Job summary

AppFolio is seeking a Vulnerability Management Specialist to join our security engineering team in Dallas. You will drive vulnerability validation, prioritization, and remediation across our SaaS platforms, while tracking risks and communicating findings to stakeholders.

You will respond to emerging threats, ensure process compliance, and help automate workflows with AI/ML. A strong scripting ability and experience with vulnerability tools are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as GCIA, GCIH, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or OSCP are desirable.
• 2–5 years in a cybersecurity role focusing on vulnerability management or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Validate, prioritize, communicate, and track vulnerabilities to improve security posture.
• Respond to emerging threats and 0-day vulnerabilities as they are released.
• Ensure compliance with vulnerability management policies and best practices.
• Streamline processes using AI, ML, and automation to reduce time-to-action.
