Job summary

AppFolio is seeking a Vulnerability Management Specialist to join the Security Engineering team. You will help secure AppFolio by prioritizing vulnerabilities, supporting incident responses, and driving automation-driven improvements across our SaaS platform.

A focus on industry-standard practices and strong communication with stakeholders is essential. You will collaborate on vulnerability management programs, stay current with trends, and contribute to cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
Cybersecurity certifications, such as GCIA, GCIH, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or OSCP.
Project management certifications, such as CAPM or PMP.

Responsibilities

Validate, prioritize, communicate, and track vulnerabilities to improve security posture.
Respond to emerging threats and 0-day vulnerability events.
Ensure compliance with vulnerability management policies and drive best practices adoption.
Streamline processes using AI, ML, and automation to speed remediation.
Build trust with customers and partners through a strong vulnerability program.
