Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Vulnerability Management Analyst to scale the EVM program, manage vulnerability assessment platforms, automate exposure pipelines, and partner with global teams to drive proactive risk reduction. The role focuses on platform operations, workflow automation, and comprehensive vulnerability visibility across corporate assets.

You will work in a hybrid setup with remote work and in-office days, contributing to risk reduction in modern IT environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1+ year of work experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity focusing on Vulnerability Management or Threat Exposure programs.
• Scripting for automation (Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with CVSS and exploit mechanics.
• Hands-on experience in Security Operations, Cloud Security, or enterprise vulnerability teams.

Responsibilities

• Platform Operations: Manage, scale, and maintain modern vulnerability assessment platforms, scanners, and cloud infrastructure.
• Workflow Automation: Automate triage tasks, ingestion pipelines, and remediation tracking via scripting & integrations.
• Continuous Exposure Management: Optimize vulnerability identification programs for hybrid and cloud-native surfaces.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with global organizations and cloud engineering for remediation.
• Technical Support & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors for scanning issues, API integrations, ingestion blocks.
• Enterprise Visibility & Reporting: Drive asset and vulnerability visibility with metrics and dashboards.
• Advanced Triage & Analysis: Evaluate zero-days, CVEs, and bugs for prioritization and deployment.
• Stakeholder Escalation & Advocacy: Drive security awareness and SLA compliance.
