Meta is seeking a Security Engineer on the Scaling – Vulnerability Management team to design ML-powered systems that automate how vulnerabilities are identified, triaged, and remediated across Meta's codebase. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS, information security, or related field.
• 5+ years securing enterprise-scale infrastructure software and services.
• Experience with security control automation/monitoring or compliance-as-code implementations.
• Experience identifying, triaging, and remediating software vulnerabilities across large codebases.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered autonomous remediation pipelines for third-party library vulnerabilities across Meta's codebase.
• Develop ML-driven triage and contextualization agents to autonomously assess, prioritize, and suppress vulnerability tasks.
• Architect supply-chain defense systems with time-locked mirrors, quarantine mechanisms, and enhanced metadata for safer automated upgrades.
• Drive cross-functional strategy across security, infra, and product engineering to scale automation.
• Own technically complex workstreams and solve ambiguous problems while enabling others to execute.
