Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering or development experience.
• 1) 5+ years of technical leadership experience.
• 2) Proven experience building, leading, and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
• 3) Strong technical and architectural background with hands-on engagement.
• 4) Experience with modern cloud-based SaaS environments and AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale teams across software engineering, data science, and Salesforce development.
• 2) Define the technical vision, architecture, standards, and engineering strategy for Tractor Zoom.
• 3) Build a high-performance engineering culture centered on ownership, accountability, speed, quality, and continuous improvement.
• 4) Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain exceptional engineers and engineering leaders.
• 5) Lead from the front and prototype, review architecture, troubleshoot, and work directly with engineers when needed.
• 6) Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools, including AI code generation, coding agents, automated testing, debugging, documentation, and code review.
• 7) Establish practical standards and guardrails around AI-generated code, security, testing, quality, and maintainability.
• 8) Continuously evaluate new engineering and AI tools that can improve developer productivity.
• 9) Remove barriers that slow engineers down and improve how teams design, build, test, deploy, and monitor software.
• 10) Partner with Product and other leaders to focus on high-impact opportunities.
• 11) Build scalable, reliable systems while managing technical debt.
• 12) Measure and improve productivity, software quality, delivery speed, and reliability.
• 13) Communicate technical strategy clearly to engineers, executives, customers, and the Board.
• 14) Serve as a mentor and coach for leaders and teams.
• 15) Understand technical undertakings and set accurate timelines.
