Job summary

Bolder Apps is seeking a mid-senior UI/UX Product Designer for a fully remote, monthly retainer engagement. You will own product design for client apps from discovery through handoff, delivering AI-augmented workflows that engineers can implement directly.

The ideal candidate has shipped production mobile and web products, strong Figma fluency, and experience collaborating with founders, PMs, and engineers across multiple engagements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience designing production mobile and/or web products that shipped.
• Agency or consultancy experience preferred.
• Strong Figma fluency and design systems experience.
• Excellent client-facing communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own product UI/UX for client mobile and web apps from discovery through handoff across multiple engagements.
• Run client-facing design reviews, workshops, and async critique during US business hours.
• Turn briefs into flows, wireframes, high-fidelity screens, and interactive prototypes.
• Build and maintain design systems and component libraries to avoid reinvention.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers on scope, edge cases, accessibility, and platform conventions.
• Produce Figma files engineers can build from with proper structure and tokens.
• Use AI design and research tools to move faster while ensuring quality for clients.
