Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to bolster Treasury portfolio monitoring and incident management. You will leverage DynaTrace, Splunk, Hadoop, Cloud, and AI tools to optimize uptime and performance while engaging with IT and business lines.

You will work onsite in Charlotte, NC, collaborating across infrastructure and development teams, and may participate in after-hours stand-by rotations. Strong SQL/UNIX and scripting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Production Support experience."
• Strong knowledge of SQL, UNIX / LINUX.
• Working knowledge of ITSM, ITRS, DynaTrace, and Splunk.
• Experience with job scheduling tools such as Autosys and Bob jobs.
• Hands-on experience with databases (Oracle, Teradata) and Hadoop.
• Experience with Unix, Quartz, Grid, Cloud, and Containers.
• Strong knowledge of AI tools.
• Python scripting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve business queries for the ERFT space.
• Communicate the overall status and health of the application to business lines and management.
• Identify areas for improvement in monitoring, application stability, and root cause analysis speed.
• Collaborate with Technology Infrastructure and Development Teams on releases and upgrades.
• Manage the user query mailbox, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
• Handle feed and batch support items, including alert and monitoring management.
• Utilize framework tools such as ITSM, ITRS, JIRA, DynaTrace, and Splunk for updates and reporting.
• Manage incidents, providing user notifications and handling escalations as needed.
• Maintain documentation and manage knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate issue resolution with various development teams.
• Assist with metrics reporting and coordinate Business Continuity testing.
• Organize and lead meetings for issue resolution.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual, repetitive tasks.
