Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis is seeking a Technical Product Owner for the HCP vertical within Lilly's Sales & Marketing Capabilities to drive AI-enabled tools and automation. You will bridge business strategy, product ownership, and technical delivery across a portfolio of AI-powered products, coordinating with stakeholders, architects, and vendors to translate strategy into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of IT experience, including experience in a product owner, business analyst, or technical integration/delivery role.
Experience translating business requirements into technical designs, backlog items, or integration solutions.
Understanding of integration technologies, data structures, and system interoperability.
Experience with vendor or supplier management.

Responsibilities

Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned HCP-vertical products.
Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating business needs and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the business on product performance, issues, and enhancement requests, partnering with Ops Support teams to resolve them.
Plan and coordinate release cycles (quarterly releases and hotfixes) in partnership with business owners and delivery teams.
Collaborate with vendors/suppliers to understand current and emerging capabilities and translate them into strategic product roadmaps.
Create and deliver executive-ready updates on strategy, progress, and outcomes to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
Identify opportunities where AI and automation can improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and accelerate results for HCP-facing teams.
