Job summary

VersaTech, Inc. seeks a Technical Business Analyst to support the FDA program, bridging stakeholders and development teams as AI solutions are integrated into the technology stack.

You will own requirements elicitation, process analysis, and acceptance criteria for AI-enabled capabilities, serving as the translation layer between mission users and engineers. This is hands-on work requiring the ability to read code, work with data, follow end-to-end integrations, and discuss designs credibly with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, business administration, life sciences, or related field; four additional years of directly relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Eight or more years of business analysis experience supporting software development or application modernization.
• Technical fluency to read and reason about application code, REST APIs, data models, and integration points to write requirements an engineer can build from.
• Ability to travel to the FDA campus in College Park, Maryland on a periodic basis and US citizenship or other status satisfying Government suitability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and validate functional and nonfunctional requirements with FDA program stakeholders, end users, and technical leads.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows for development teams to build from without rework.
• Perform as‑is and to‑be process analysis, gap analysis, and impact assessment for proposed changes.
• Maintain traceability from stakeholder need through requirement, build, test, and acceptance.
