Job summary

Valicy is recruiting an AI Technical Artist in Greenville, NC. This role sits at the crossroads of visual design, AI-assisted asset creation, and production workflows.

You will generate multiple visual directions rapidly, evaluate asset approaches, and turn strong concepts into production-ready game assets with speed and clarity. The ideal candidate actively uses AI tools to accelerate exploration, stress-test asset quality, and improve pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience with digital art tools, asset pipelines, and production workflows.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools for asset generation, refinement, and iteration.
• Understanding of game asset workflows across the full development cycle.
• Technical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and comfort working between art and engineering.
• Strong visual judgment and attention to detail.
• Ability to evaluate, select, and refine outputs quickly.
• Experience integrating assets into game engines or interactive systems.
• Experience in casino gaming or slot machine development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand company Mission, Vision, and Values and be an ambassador of MVV.
• Generate, refine, and curate visual assets using AI and traditional digital art tools
• Build efficient workflows that combine asset creation, evaluation, iteration, and implementation
• Support the integration of art into game systems from concept through production
• Optimize assets for performance, visual quality, and platform constraints
• Identify workflow pain points and propose or build practical improvements
• Collaborate closely with design and engineering to align visuals with gameplay needs
• Maintain a high bar for visual consistency, usability, and production readiness
