Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to build AI-powered tools and support systems. You will automate parts of the support workflow, ship autonomous tooling, and collaborate with Support Engineers and Reps to prioritize impactful work.

You’ll work in a fully remote, async-friendly environment, reporting to the Director of Support. The role emphasizes shipping practical solutions with a strong bias toward action and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Degree or rigorous experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication in a collaborative, async environment.

Responsibilities

• Build internal tools to scale Support operations and AI workflows.
• Own projects end-to-end with direct collaboration with Support.
• Ship customer-facing tools to reduce support queue work and enable self-service.
• Collaborate closely with Support Engineers and Reps to capture requirements.
• Improve underlying systems and integrations across Stripe, Twilio, and related services.
• Prototype, measure, and ship new approaches when better methods exist.
