Job summary

AMD is seeking a Business Planning Specialist in Austin to bridge customer demand with supply chain execution. You will lead AI-enabled planning, coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain, and translate fast-changing demand into a clear weekly plan to drive revenue and margin.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, strong communication, and rapid adoption of automation to optimize inventory and align teams around a common plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; semiconductors or manufacturing experience advantageous.
• AMD role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build and use AI and automation tools to streamline workflows, speed up analysis, and create scalable solutions.
• Own the weekly supply prioritization plan, balancing customer orders, sales forecast, and supply to meet or exceed revenue and margin targets.
• Analyze historical data, product trends, and customer insights to build plans that protect customer commitments while minimizing excess inventory.
• Partner daily with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to match supply with demand and resolve escalations.
• Support the broader sales and operations planning process.
