Job summary

AMD is seeking a Manager of Supply Planning in Austin, TX to lead a team of planners across Data Center GPU programs. You will translate demand, capacity, and material availability into executable supply plans while managing risks and optimization opportunities.

You will partner across Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure on-time delivery, product ramps, and profitable growth. Strong leadership and data-driven decision making are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supply Planners for Data Center GPU programs.
  • Own supply planning execution across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons to support revenue and product ramp milestones.
  • Partner with Business Units, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and suppliers to align demand, supply, capacity, materials, and execution priorities.
  • Identify supply risks, drive mitigation plans, and escalation trade-offs with clear business impact.
  • Manage supply planning KPIs, including on-time delivery, revenue support, inventory health, excess and obsolete exposure, and supply commit accuracy.
  • Lead cross-functional issue resolution for shortages, capacity constraints, material readiness, planning parameter gaps, and execution blockers.
  • Drive process, system, and tool improvements to scale planning across complex BOMs and multi-site networks.
  • Champion continuous improvement, change management, and standard work to improve productivity and transparency.
