Job summary

AMD in Austin, TX is seeking a Manager of Supply Planning to lead a team responsible for translating demand, capacity, and material availability into supply plans across horizons for the Data Center GPU programs.

You will partner across Operations, Business Units, Engineering, Manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, product ramps, and profitable growth, while driving process improvements and scalable planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Supply Planners supporting Data Center GPU programs.
  • Own supply planning execution across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons to support revenue attainment and product ramp milestones.
  • Partner with Business Units, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and suppliers to align demand, supply, capacity, materials, and execution priorities.
  • Identify supply risks, drive mitigation plans, and escalate trade-offs with clear business impact.
  • Manage supply planning KPIs, including on-time delivery, revenue support, inventory health, excess/obsolete exposure, and supply commit accuracy.
  • Lead cross-functional issue resolution for shortages, capacity constraints, material readiness, planning parameter gaps, and execution blockers.
  • Drive process, system, and tool improvements to scale planning capability across complex BOMs, inventory flows, and multi-site supply networks.
  • Champion continuous improvement, change management, and standard work to improve productivity, transparency, and planning discipline.
