THE ROLE

The Business Planning Specialist sits at the center of our Client supply chain — the bridge between customer demand and our supply organization. Working closely with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams, this person decides how to prioritize product supply across our customers and turns a complex, fast-changing demand picture into a clear weekly plan that drives revenue and margin.

This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven role where smart, well-reasoned decisions make a direct impact on the business. The ideal candidate is a sharp critical thinker, an aggressive adopter of AI and automation, and a strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional teamwork.

THE PERSON

This person weighs competing demand signals and consolidates them into a single, defensible plan using a mix of analytical and interpersonal skills. They are a creative problem solver who is comfortable building and leveraging AI-enabled tools to cut out manual work, sharpen decisions, and keep partners aligned under tight deadlines. They combine strong analytical horsepower with clear communication, and they're energized by turning slow, manual processes into fast, automated ones.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and use AI and automation tools to streamline workflows, speed up analysis, and create scalable solutions.
• Own the weekly supply prioritization plan, balancing customer orders, sales forecast, and supply to meet or exceed revenue and margin targets.
• Analyze historical data, product trends, and customer insights to build plans that protect customer commitments while minimizing excess inventory.
• Partner daily with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to match supply with demand and resolve escalations.
• Support the broader sales and operations planning process.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• High proficiency with AI— demonstrated use of AI tools or automation to improve workflows and solve real problems, plus the curiosity to learn new tools quickly.
• Strong critical thinking— able to break down ambiguous problems, challenge assumptions with data, and recommend practical solutions under pressure.
• Advanced Exceland comfort working with large data sets; familiarity with other data or scripting tools is a plus.
• Excellent communicatorwho can make complex ideas clear for any audience.
• Strong collaboratorwho drives alignment across teams and manages competing priorities.
• Supply chain or operations experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in semiconductors or manufacturing is advantageous.
