Blue Origin is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) to own the end-to-end supplier lifecycle, from bid packages to contract execution, embedded with engineering and manufacturing teams. You will drive supplier readiness through PPAP and run-rate validation, with a focus on cost-down, dual-sourcing, and AI-assisted procurement automation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field with 4+ years or 2+ years for respective degree, in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with NPI or development programs from design through high-rate production.
• Experience with First Article Inspection, supplier capability studies, and production readiness validation including run-at-rate assessments.
• Understanding of takt time, line balancing, capacity validation, and supplier scalability from low-rate to high-rate.
• Experience building and executing sourcing strategies: competitive events, dual-sourcing, make/buy trades, and total cost analysis.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and the ability to embed with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Aufgaben

• Build comprehensive bid packages with technical requirements, commercial terms, and evaluation criteria with engineers and commodity managers.
• Support competitive source selection events.
• Qualify and onboard new suppliers, including facility assessments and contract execution.
• Drive supplier readiness through PPAP, tooling acceptance, and run-rate validation.
• Validate supplier capacity to scale from low-rate to high-rate production.
• Develop dual/tri/tri-source strategies to mitigate risk and reduce costs.
• Negotiate contracts and LTAs, monitor performance with dashboards and AI-enabled insights.
