Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager to own sourcing strategies, manage suppliers, and ensure material delivery on time and budget. You’ll embed with engineering and manufacturing teams, participating in design reviews and production planning from early stages.

The role emphasizes AI-first procurement automation, data-driven reporting, and collaboration across Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing to optimize performance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years OR Master’s with 2+ years in supply chain, engineering, or program management in manufacturing.
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) or development programs from design to high-rate production.
• Experience with supplier capability studies and production readiness validation.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & supplier management; build bid packages with technical requirements and terms.
• Qualify and onboard new suppliers with assessments and contract execution.
• Drive supplier readiness through PPAP and run-at-rate validation.
• Develop dual/tri-source strategies to mitigate risk and reduce cost.
• Conduct make/buy/where analyses with engineering and manufacturing.
• Negotiate contracts and manage LTAs/MSAs with indexed pricing.
