Job summary

Genius AI in New York City is seeking an experienced Strategy and Operations leader to own the onboarding, retention, and growth of a larger, more complex customer base. You will drive cross-functional initiatives and translate ambiguous problems into actionable plans.

The role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and requires 6+ years of strategic experience, strong analytics, and the ability to operate with minimal direction. In-office 3–4 days weekly.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in strategy, operations, business analysis, or strategic finance.
• Experience building AI-powered workflows that automate repeatable work.
• Ability to frame problems and design solutions with minimal direction.
• Strong analytical foundation with data tools and modeling.
• Proven ability to align multiple functions (Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance).
• Clear written communicator capable of exec summaries and briefs.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and execution roadmap for onboarding, retention, and growth of a large customer segment.
• Define the operational model for the Onboarding Specialist team and how the org should evolve with scale.
• Build analytics layer to track onboarding, time-to-value, expansion, and retention by segment.
• Evaluate opportunity costs of initiatives and determine sequencing of builds.
• Design and run experiments across onboarding, lifecycle, and expansion plays.
• Design AI-powered workflows to automate repeatable work across CS motion.
• Align Sales, Product, Marketing, and CX on operational requirements and dependencies.
• As CS matures, lead other high-priority strategic initiatives.
