Job summary

HR Ways, a leading North American tech startup providing all-in-one transportation management software to K-12 school districts, is seeking a Business Operations professional with an AI-first mindset to tackle cross-functional challenges and drive meaningful impact.

You will own problems end-to-end, design operating cadences and SOPs, and push automation to reduce manual work, while collaborating with senior leaders and spanning Product, Engineering, and GTM functions.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional experience in relevant roles.
• AI-first approach with hands-on Claude Code experience.
• Highly analytical and structured; ability to decompose problems and quantify outcomes.
• Systems thinker who considers second-order effects in changes.
• Strong executive-level English communication skills.
• Daily overlap with Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end problem ownership from diagnosis to implemented solution.
• Design operating mechanisms, SOPs, and decision rules; automate and reduce manual load.
• Tackle special projects as needed by the quarter.
