Job summary

Crusoe is building the AI infrastructure that powers the next generation of intelligence, with a Storage engineering team focused on AI-powered tooling for storage operations. You will drive adoption of Claude Code, Codex, and other AI coding tools, mentor engineers, and reduce manual toil through automation.

You’ll partner with DevX on platform-level changes and help shape engineering workflows across the Storage team. A CS/CE degree and a passion for AI tooling are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional industry experience building with AI tools, with measurable outcomes.
• A track record of getting a team to adopt a tool or workflow you introduced.
• Experience turning a personally built internal tool using AI into something a team relies on.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI coding tools and experience across multiple tools (Claude Code, Codex, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered automation for storage operations and workflows that reduces manual engineering toil.
• Drive adoption of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, and others) across the Storage team — creating use cases, lowering friction, and making the case for new tools the team isn’t using yet
• Help engineers use AI to handle test creation, correctness checks, and code review, so developers spend less time on repetitive work
• Coach and mentor other engineers on effective use of AI tools, rather than just using them solo
• Partner closely with DevX on tooling and platform-level changes (CI, broader infra) — this role drives adoption and use cases within Storage, not ownership of DevX-owned platform systems
