Job summary

Crusoe is hiring a Senior Staff Automation Engineer to own deployment and testing automation for large-scale AI compute infrastructure. You’ll lead CI/CD, validation across multi-node clusters, and tooling for reproducible releases in Crusoe’s on-premise AI Cloud.

You will work with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Postgres, ensuring stability of low-level systems and enabling rapid, reliable deployments across datacenters.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of engineering experience with senior-level autonomy.
• Experience building automated integration testing for AI cloud environments.
• Knowledge of modern infrastructure stack: Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Postgres.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment and testing automation for bare-metal on-premise systems in Crusoe’s AI Cloud Stack.
• Build and maintain CI/CD platforms to test, iterate, and deploy low-level systems.
• Design large-scale validation tests across multi-node VM clusters for GPU workloads.
• Maintain bare-metal Linux configurations with GitLab, Ansible, AWX, and related tools.
• Create orchestration apps to coordinate canary deployments and blue/green rollouts.
• Develop automation frameworks in Python or Go to provision and stress-test multi-node environments.
• Create automated test suites with fio, stress-ng, and iperf for performance and isolation.
