Job summary

Crusoe Energy Systems is building the AI infrastructure powering the next generation of AI-driven storage operations. You will create AI-powered tooling to automate workflows, reduce manual toil, and drive adoption of coding tools across the storage team.

You will mentor engineers, demonstrate measurable outcomes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance platform tooling and CI improvements. A strong CS foundation and passion for AI are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience building with AI tools.
• Experience turning an internal AI tool into a team-wide solution.
• Track record of driving tool adoption across a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE or related field.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Exposure to cloud storage, networking, or infrastructure environments.
• Cross-functional experience with DevX, Product Management and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered tooling to accelerate storage operations and engineering workflows.
• Drive uptake of AI coding tools across the Storage team and create use cases.
• Mentor engineers on effective use of AI tools and reduce friction to adoption.

• Crusoe is building the AI infrastructure that powers the next generation of intelligence, and we empower our own engineers to operate at the same frontier. The Storage engineering team is the backbone of Crusoe’s AI cloud platform
• You’ll have real latitude here. You’ll build AI powered tools that make storage operations and engineering workflows faster and smarter, and you’ll shape how an entire engineering team works by driving adoption of tools like Claude Code, Codex; mentoring engineers one on one, and removing the friction that keeps great tools from getting used

• Build AI-powered automation for storage operations and workflows that reduces manual engineering toil
• Drive adoption of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, and others) across the Storage team — creating use cases, lowering friction, and making the case for new tools the team isn’t using yet
• Help engineers use AI to handle test creation, correctness checks, and code review, so developers spend less time on repetitive work
• Coach and mentor other engineers on effective use of AI tools, rather than just using them solo
• Partner closely with DevX on tooling and platform-level changes (CI, broader infra) — this role drives adoption and use cases within Storage, not ownership of DevX-owned platform systems
