Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to embed with client teams and drive production AI platforms from architecture through adoption. You’ll own time-to-value, reliability, and scalability across multi‑stakeholder environments, delivering AI-powered procurement solutions and repeatable blueprints.

You have 8+ years in engineering, plus hands-on AI platform experience (OpenAI, Vertex AI, or similar) and a track record leading software teams.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with cloud-native systems and modern architectures.
At least 1 year designing and deploying agentic solutions in production.
Minimum 3 years of deep expertise with AI platforms (OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI).
Proven experience leading software engineering teams and delivery oversight.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years total).

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise AI platform deployments across client environments, owning architecture through adoption and integration with procurement systems.
Define performance metrics: time-to-value, adoption velocity, and reliability across multiple workstreams.
Architect and govern AI solutions across identity, data, security, and workflow integrations at programme scale.
Shape AI reinvention strategy for senior client stakeholders and publish reusable blueprints and accelerators.
Lead executive workshops and architecture design sessions with client leaders.
