Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to be embedded with a client, delivering production AI platforms across complex environments. You will own outcomes including time-to-value, adoption, reliability, and scalability, working with procurement systems such as SAP Ariba and Coupa to enable AI-driven transformation.

You will lead architecture design sessions, drive multi-stakeholder collaborations, and codify delivery learnings to elevate the FDE practice, while shaping long-term AI

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with cloud-native systems, including APIs, microservices, containerization, and serverless architectures.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience designing and deploying agentic solutions in production environments.
• Minimum of 3 years of deep expertise with AI platforms (OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI, or open-source models).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience leading software engineering teams, including delivery oversight and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI platform deployments across complex client environments, owning architecture through adoption and integration with procurement systems.
• Own programme-level delivery outcomes: time-to-value, reliability, adoption velocity, and scalability across concurrent workstreams.
• Lead rapid experimentation at pace to turn ambiguous problems into production systems within days or weeks.
• Architect and govern AI solutions across identity, data, security, governance, and multi-system integration at programme scale.
• Shape AI reinvention strategy and engage senior stakeholders on AI-enabled procurement transformation strategies.
