Job summary

Intone Inc in Dallas, TX seeks a Software Engineering Tech Lead for a 6-month on-site contract to guide teams in building, integrating, and operationalizing AI-driven solutions. You will provide technical leadership across architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production operations while collaborating with stakeholders, Solution Architects, and leadership.

Qualifications

Expert-level experience in software engineering with breadth and depth.
Experience leading software engineering teams.
Advanced knowledge of at least one programming language and working knowledge of additional languages.
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, development methodologies, testing, and deployment.
Experience with cloud technologies, APIs, system integrations, and modern software engineering practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to communicate technical solutions and business value to senior leadership.
Experience working in fast-paced, enterprise-level environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent advanced experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of software developers in planning, delivery, and operation of reliable software applications.
Provide technical leadership and ensure quality, scalability, maintainability, and performance of solutions.
Partner with Solution Architects to create and review designs.
Provide accurate development estimates and support feasibility and planning.
Design, develop, review, and maintain high-quality software with modern engineering practices.
Develop and execute automated unit, functional, and integration tests.
Provide oversite for performance testing and non-functional requirements.
Plan and oversee deployments across non-production and production environments.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI, data, cloud, and analytics technologies.
Address technical debt while balancing development effort with business value.
Mentor developers on architecture, design, coding standards, testing, DevOps, and operations.
Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Communicate risks, options, and business value to technical and non-technical audiences.
Influence technical decisions without direct authority.
Lead multiple initiatives concurrently with delivery commitments.
Integrate AI insights into operational apps and workflows.
