Job summary

HP IQ’s Device Experiences team is seeking a software-focused intern in San Francisco to help build user-facing experiences across Windows client devices and hardware-software platforms. You’ll join cross-disciplinary collaboration to move ideas from concepts and prototypes to working solutions.

As an intern, you’ll tackle challenging problems, prototype interactions with designers and engineers, and explore sensor-driven interactions and AI-enabled product experiences. May/June–Aug/Sept 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Strong programming skills in Java or C++.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to foundational building blocks of our frameworks to create intuitive user experiences.
• Prototype, iterate with designers and engineers to bring new interactions to life.
• Tackle technical problems, communicate issues, needs and solutions clearly.
• Explore interaction models by connecting sensors and hardware capabilities to frameworks.
