Job summary

QuoteWell is seeking a Software Engineer to scale its AI-driven brokerage platform. You will own the outcome at QuoteWell and embed with our operators, identifying workflows where heroics fail and building governed AI execution into those processes.

You will calibrate where human judgment remains and where the system carries the standard, influencing production-ready AI across the organization.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years shipping production software.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI application patterns.
• Ability to troubleshoot, scope, and reason out loud in the room.
• Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Build governed AI workflows — integrating with AMS, carrier portals, email, and the systems our agency actually runs on
• Identify which parts of the agency’s operation can be made system-governed without losing human judgment
• Design the review, attribution, and override patterns that let a regulated business trust the system
• Carry field signal back to Engineering, Product, and Design so the platform scales
