Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for the Tax Ignition Team in Denver. The role involves building AI-powered features and APIs, with front-end in Angular and back-end in Python or .NET/C#.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or related field preferred; Master's desired.
• Strong understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, authentication/authorization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and data scientists to translate business needs into AI-powered features and APIs.
• Build and maintain client-facing web apps in Angular + TypeScript, Python or .NET/C# backend services and APIs, secure SQL databases.
• Leverage Azure services for deployment, scaling and monitoring.
• Integrate LLMs and AI services into front-end and back-end systems.
• Mentor junior engineers on AI principles, code reviews, and system design.
