Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Strategist who will own search for B2B and growing-brand clients, shaping the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking narrative when clients ask what moved. You are the strategic voice and will make the calls.

You will manage technical SEO—crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture—while defining keyword strategy and on-page optimization with writers and AI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes done personally
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush
• Agency experience across several clients at once
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture
• Lead keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers/AI
• Get clients found in AI search and classic results
• Handle local search and multi-location SEO as needed
• Provide GA4 and Search Console reporting and quarterly client roadmaps
