Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an AI Search Optimization Specialist to own search for B2B and growing-brand clients, shaping the technical roadmap, content priorities and ranking narrative. You will serve as the strategic voice, making informed calls in collaboration with writers and AI to deliver measurable SEO results.

You will manage technical SEO, keyword strategy, content prioritization, and AI-enabled search initiatives, including AI overlays and traditional organic efforts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO audit, fixes and implementation.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across multiple clients simultaneously.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers and AI.
• Getting clients found in AI search, Google AI Overviews and other AI tools.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and quarterly client roadmaps.
