Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency seeking an AI Search Optimization Specialist who owns search for a portfolio of B2B and growing-brand clients. You define the technical roadmap, content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved.

You act as the strategic voice at the table, coordinating with writers and AI to run audits, optimize on-page content, and steer performance reporting in GA4 and Google Search Console for each quarterly client roadmap.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO; you have run audits and fixes yourself.
• Agency experience across several clients.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization with writers and AI.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, plus classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where needed.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly client roadmaps.
