Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO and AI Search Manager to own search for a portfolio of B2B and growing-brand clients: the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

As the role progresses, you will handle technical SEO (crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, site architecture), keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers and AI, while driving

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes.
Fluency in English; ability to work with US clients on live calls.
Experience in multi-client agency setting.
Proficiency with SEO tools (Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush).

Responsibilities

Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
Develop keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers and AI.
Drive search visibility for clients: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity alongside classic results.
Manage links, local search and multi-location SEO where needed.
Provide reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and set quarterly roadmaps for each client.
