Storm2 is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer, AI focused (Full Stack, 5+ YoE - Typescript) for a well-funded fintech startup based in Chicago. The role offers $150,000 - $200,000 base with equity and comprehensive benefits, and a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office.

You will build an AI-powered SaaS platform for payments and business management, own major features from concept to delivery, and report to the CTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering in a full‑stack role.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and AI/ML.
• Prior startup experience in fintech or payments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build new products and features from ground up.
• Bring AI agents to market and own pricing-related projects.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver robust solutions.
• Maintain a user‑centric approach with client feedback driving improvements.
• Make speed-driven architectural decisions to accelerate delivery.
