Job summary

Storm3 is partnering with a venture-backed healthcare technology startup building the intelligence layer for healthcare decision-making in New York. They are seeking a Founding Software Engineer to shape product and engineering culture from day one, owning critical initiatives and shipping quickly.

You will own full-stack features with TypeScript, React, and Node.js, evolve data pipelines, and contribute to AI-enabled workflows while collaborating with founders and the team in a hybrid NYC

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience building and shipping production applications.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work onsite in a hybrid environment (4 days per week in Union Square, NYC).

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy production-ready features from day one.
• Build across the full stack using TypeScript technologies.
• Work on backend services, frontend applications, infrastructure, analytics, and integrations.
• Design and maintain data models and pipelines for healthcare datasets.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decisions.
• Own problems end-to-end from discovery through deployment.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
• Influence product strategy, engineering processes, and company culture as an early employee.
