Job summary

Vibehackers in Austin, Texas is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager (Tool Install Design Lead) to co-lead multidisciplinary semiconductor tool-installation projects, drive technical decisions, and manage scope, schedule, and budget.

You will serve as the primary design liaison to client Tool Experts while coordinating across international sites, translating complex concepts for diverse stakeholders, and championing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant engineering field required.
• Bachelors degree preferred for engineering leadership roles.
• Strong communication of technical concepts to teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with tool installation design and semiconductor environments a plus.
• CAPM or PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed project plans with technical specifications and standards.
• Coordinate day-to-day delivery activities and align schedule, scope, and budget.
• Act as Design Liaison to client Tool Experts and PMs to resolve design constraints.
• Collaborate with lead engineers to drive technical decisions and standards.
• Identify and manage project scope, risks, and design challenges across fab areas.
• Champion process improvements and engineer solutions for project issues.
• Manage meetings, document control, and RFI responses with stakeholders.
• Handle complex tool install assignments with supervision while meeting cost guidelines.
